3.5 g of product of Step A with 20 ml of N sodium hydroxide solution and 50 ml of ethanol were stirred for 15 hours at reflux and the reaction medium was poured into ice-cooled water and acidified with concentrated hydrochloric acid. After separating, the residue was washed with water and dried. The crude product was impasted in 100 ml of isopropyl ether to obtain 3.27 g of the desired compound melting at 140° C.
