Reaction Steps
32 g (76.65 mmol) of benzyl 4-[(1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-9H-pyrido[3,4-b]indol-2-yl)carbonyl]-1-piperidinecarboxylate, 300 ml of methanol, 300 ml of dichloromethane and 9 g of palladinized charcoal (10% palladium) are introduced into a Parr apparatus, and a hydrogenolysis is performed under approximately 0.41 MPa for 18 h.
