The formyl amino compound of Procedure 88 (0.08 mol) is dissolved with warming in a solution of sodium hydroxide (0.09 mol) in 100 ml. water. The solution is treated with activated charcoal, filtered, and the filtrate neutralized with acetic acid. The precipitate is collected.
