Reaction Steps

In the same manner as described in Example 1-(1), 4-ethoxy-6-(4-ethylaminophenyl)-2-pyridinecarboxylic acid (0.28 g), carbonyldiimidazole (0.17 g) and 5-aminotetrazole (0.09 g) are reacted to give N-(5-tetrazolyl)-4-ethoxy-6-(4-ethylaminophenyl)-2-pyridinecarboxamide (0.24 g). M.P. 255°-257° C. (decomp.) (recrystallized from dimethylformamide-ethanol)
