N-(5-Bromo-2-fluorophenyl)-2,2,2-trifluoroacetamide (8.04 g, 28 mmol) and (trimethylsilyl)acetylene (6 mL, 42 mmol) were coupled according to the procedure of Example 56, Step B to give the desired product (6.66 g, 78%). 1H NMR (400 MHz, d6-DMSO) δ 11.32 (s, 1H), 7.62-7.60 (m, 1H), 7.47-7.44 (m, 1H), 7.39-7.33 (m, 1H), 0.21 (s, 9H) ppm.
