1-Benzylindole-3-carboxylic acid (25.9 mg, 96 mmol) was dissolved in SOCl2 (1 mL) and the mixture was stirred for 30 min before the volatiles were removed in vacuo. The residue was dissolved in MeCN (200 μL) and added to a solution of pyrimidin-4-yl-amine (10 mg, 105 mmol) in NMP (200 μL). The reaction mixture was stirred 16 hours at room temperature before the MeCN was removed in vacuo. The residue was purified using HPLC method D to give title compound.
