2-(2-(1-Benzyl-4-piperidinyl)ethyl)-5,7-dimethyl-1,2-dihydro-3H-imidazo[1,5-c]imidazol-3-one (1.1 g) obtained in Example 94a), 10% palladium carbon (0.22 g) and ammonium formate (2.0 g) were added to methanol (30 ml), and mixed at room temperature for 2 days. The catalyst was filtered off, and the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was dissolved in chloroform, the precipitate was filtered off, and the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure to obtain the title compound as colorless powder (0.8 g, quantitative).
