Procedure

Triethylamine (0.87 g, 8.63 mmol) was added to a solution of 3-methoxyaniline (1 g, 8.63 mmol) dissolved in dichloromethane (20 ml), and thereto phenylchlorothioformate (1.49 g, 8.63 mmol) was added by dropping. The resulting solution was stirred for 2 hours at the room temperature, washed with distilled water, concentrated and purified by column chromatography to give the titled compound.
