Reaction Steps
3-Ethyl-naphto[1,2-d]imidazolinone (1d) was prepared analogously by treatment of naphto[1,2-d]imidazolinone with sodium hydride (1.1 eq.) and bromoethane (1.1 eq.), successively. Yield after column-chromatographic workup: 2%. Mp. 240-242° C.
