Reaction Steps

To a solution of ethyl 3-{2-[1-(acetylamino)propyl]-4-chlorophenyl}-8-azabicyclo[3.2.1]octane-8-carboxylate (2-9) (0.200 g, 0.51 mmol) in DCM (5.0 mL) was added iodotrimethylsilane (0.360 mL, 2.55 mmol) slowly. The mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight. After the reaction was completed, the solvents were removed under vacuum and solid was washed with ether (2×5 mL) to give (2-10) as yellow solid.
