The title compound was prepared from 4-(4-nitro-phenoxy)-phenol and N-methyl-N-phenylcarbamoyl chloride. The crude product was subjected to preparative HPLC (71%, white crystals). HPLC-MS m/z=365.0 (M+1), Rt: 4.83 min. 4(300 MHz; CDCl3): 3.44 (s, 3H), 7.00 (d, 2H), 7.06 (d, 2H), 7.26-7.32 (m, 1H), 7.33-7.49 (m, 4H), 8.20 (dt, 2H).
