Reaction Steps
The title compound was prepared from 4-(5-trifluoromethyl-pyridin-2-yloxy)-phenyl chloroformate and 1-(2,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-piperazine. Purified by flash chromatography (ethyl acetate—heptane 1:4), yield 69%. White crystals, m.p. 98-99° C.; HPLC-MS: m/z=504 (M+1) at Rt=4.0 min.; IR (KBr): ν 1733, 1712 (C═O) cm−1.
