The title compound was prepared as its TFA salt in 27% yield as an oil using methyl-phenyl-carbamic acid 4-hydroxymethyl-phenyl ester and 1,2,4-triazole. 1H NMR (400 MHz; CDCl3): δ 3.42 (br s, 3H), 5.34 (s, 2H), 7.15 (br d, 2H), 7.26-7.43 (m, 7H), 8.10 (s, 1H), 8.38 (s, 1H); HPLC-MS: m/z=309.1 (M+1); Rt=2.74 min.
