The title compound was prepared using the same experimental procedure as in example 25a from [1-(hydroxymethyl)cyclobutyl]methanol and 2-chloro-4-(4-methylphenyl)-1,3-thiazole. 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ 7.61 (d, J=8 Hz, 2H), 7.16 (d, J=8 Hz, 2H), 6.78 (s, 1H), 4.62 (s, 2H), 3.77 (t, J=7 Hz, 1H), 3.60 (d, J=7 Hz, 2H), 2.35 (s, 3H), 2.04-1.90 (m, 6H). GC-MS m/z 290 (M+H).
