400 mg (1.17 mmol) 2-(7-bromo-2-chloro-5H-pyrimido[5,4-b]indol-4-yloxy)ethanol and 1.0 g (11.7 mmol) piperazine in 50 ml mesitylene were heated to 150° C. for 5 h. Then, the solvent was removed and the residue was taken up in EtOH and filtrated. Having removed the solvent, 250 mg (55%) of the title substance was obtained. ESI-MS [m/z]: 392, 394[M+H]+
