Procedure

A 100 mL round bottom flask was charged with tert-butyl 3-(cyclopropanesulfonamido)-1,5-dimethyl-6-oxo-1,6-dihydropyridin-2-yl(2-fluoro-4-iodophenyl)carbamate (120 mg, 0.21 mmol) in 20% mixture of TFA in DCM (10 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 14 hours and the solvents were removed under reduced pressure. The crude material was purified by flash chromatography (Biotage system) using a gradient of EtOAc (0-50%) in hexane to afford the title product as a white solid (50 mg, 50%).
