Reaction Steps
N-(Pyridin-2-yl)-5-((thiazol-2-ylamino)methyl)thiazol-2-amine (15 mg, 0.05 mmol) was dissolved in methanolic HCl (3 N, 1 mL) and Et2O was added. The precipitated solid was filtered by decantation and dried in vacuum, yielding N-(pyridin-2-yl)-5-((thiazol-2-ylamino)methyl)thiazol-2-amine trihydrochloride (14 mg, 2%, 95.5% pure by HPLC).
