The desired compound was prepared according to the procedure of Example 16, step F, using ethanol (instead of methanol) and 1-{3′,4-difluoro-6-nitro-5-[(trimethylsilyl)ethynyl]biphenyl-2-yl}ethanone as the starting material in 90% yield. LCMS for C19H20F2NOSi (M+H)+: m/z=344.1; Found: 343.9.
