Reaction Steps
12.02 g (50 mmoles) of 5-benzyl-benzimidazoline-2-thione, 4.72 ml of 3-chloro-1-propanol, 2.0 g (50 mmoles) of sodium hydroxide dissolved in water and ethanol are reacted as described in the above Example. The recovering of the product is carried out similarly. 9.76 g (65.4%) of title product are obtained. M.p.: 103°-105° C.
