In the manner given in Example 1, a solution of 1,3-dihydro-6-trifluoromethyl-5-[m-(methylsulfonyl)phenyl]-2H-1,4-benzodiazepine-2-thione in n-butyl alcohol was heated to reflux with propoxyacetic acid hydrazide to give 7-trifluoromethyl-1-(propoxymethyl)-6-[m-(methylsulfonyl)phenyl]-4H-s-triazolo[4,3-a][1,4]benzodiazepine.
