Reaction Steps

Trifluoroacetic acid (5 mL) was added to the product (667 mg) of Example 54, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1 hr. The reaction mixture was diluted with chloroform (100 mL), and the mixture was washed with 1 mol/L sodium hydroxide and saturated brine, and dried. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure to give the title compound (362 mg) as a white amorphous solid.
