In analogy to the procedures described in examples 59C] and 26C], 2-methyl-2-(3-methylcarbamoyl-phenoxy)-propionic acid ethyl ester (example 59B]) was reacted 5-chloromethyl-4-(2-methoxy-ethyl)-6-methyl-2-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyrimidine (example 118G]) to give 2-(3-{[4-(2-methoxy-ethyl)-6-methyl-2-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyrimidin-5-ylmethyl]-methyl-carbamoyl}-phenoxy)-2-methyl-propionic acid ethyl ester, which was subsequently saponified to yield the title compound as light brown solid.
