Procedure
The title compound was prepared from 2-amino-4-methylthiazole (285 mg) and 3-chloro-2-methylbenzenesulfonyl chloride (619 mg) according to METHOD A. This afforded 167 mg (22%) of a yellow solid after purification: 1H NMR (DMSO-4) δ 2.1 (s, 3H), 2.6 (s, 3H), 6.35 (s, 1H), 7.35 (t, 1H), 7.65 (d, 1H), 7.85 (d, 1H), 12.7 (br s, 1H).
