Procedure

To a solution of the product from Step E (60 mg, 0.157 mmol) in methanol (10 mL) was added 10% palladium-on-carbon (20 mg) and the mixture was stirred under an atmosphere of hydrogen at room temperature for 18 h. The reaction mixture was filtered and evaporated to a colorless oil (30 mg): LC/MS m/z 247.
