A mixture of 0.7 ml of triethylamine and 1.44 g of 3-(4-morpholinyl)-1-propylamine is added in the course of 8 hours to a mixture containing 2 g of 4-chloro-2-methyl-6,7-dihydro-8H-pyrimido[5,4-b][1,4]oxazin-7-one and 1.4 ml of triethylamine in 5 ml of abs. benzene while stirring and refluxing. Then the mixture is refluxed under stirring for 8 hours, evaporated, the residue is taken up with 16 ml of water, triturated, filtered and washed with water and ether to give 1.1 g (36%) of the aimed product, m.p.: 165°-168° C.
