To the resulting solution was added 103 parts of copper sulfate pentahydrate, and the resulting mixture was stirred for two hours at room temperature. The precipitate was filtered, washed with water, and then dried under reduced pressure at 100° C., yielding 35 parts of copper phenylphosphonate.
