A solution of N-(7-chloro-2-methylpyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidin-5-yl)-6-(trifluoromethyl)nicotinamide (12A, 81 mg, 0.228 mmol) and morpholine (67 mg, 0.761 mmol) in DMF (0.912 mL) was stirred at 100° C. for 90 min, then cooled to rt and maintained overnight. The mixture was filtered and the crude material recrystallized from hot methanol, providing the titled compound as a white solid (50.2 mg, 54%). 1H NMR (DMSO-d6) δ: 11.45 (s, 1H), 9.28 (d, 1H), 8.59-8.63 (m, 1H), 8.09 (d, J=8.1 Hz, 1H), 7.31 (s, 1H), 6.21 (s, 1H), 3.80-3.89 (m, 4H), 3.68-3.80 (m, 4H), 2.39 (s, 3H); ESI-MS: m/z 407.2 (M+H)+.
