Trifluoroacetic Acid (0.5 mL) was added to a solution of tert-butyl 4-(cyanomethyl)-4-{4-[7-(quinolin-6-ylmethyl)imidazo[1,2-b][1,2,4]triazin-2-yl]-1H-pyrazol-1-yl}piperidine-1-carboxylate (0.015 g, 0.000027 mol) in methylene chloride (0.5 mL). The mixture was stirred at RT for 0.5 h. The volatiles were removed under reduced pressure to give the desired product as a TFA salt which was directly used in the next step without further purification. LCMS: (M+H)=450.5.
