The title compound was prepared as a white amorphous in 99% yield from 7-(benzyloxy)-1-(2-methoxyethyl)-2-methyl-1H-benzimidazole-5-carboxylic acid (5.00 g, 14.7 mmol, Step 5 of Example 1) and 2-(methylamino)ethanol (1.21 g, 16.2 mmol) by the same manner in Step 13 of Example 1.
