A solution of tert-butyl [(3S,4S)-4-{[(3R,4R)-3-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-4-{methyl[(4-morpholin-4-ylphenyl)carbonyl]amino}piperidin-1-yl]carbonyl}tetrahydro-2H-pyran-3-yl]carbamate (200 mg) obtained in Example 627 in 2N hydrogen chloride/2-propanol (5 mL) was stirred at 55° C. for 2 hr. The reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure to give the title compound (226 mg, 100%) as a white powder.
