[(R)-1-(3-Methoxy-4-nitro-phenyl)-piperidin-3-yl]-(4-methyl-piperazin-1-yl)-methanone was prepared in an analogous fashion to) [(S)-1-(3-Methoxy-4-nitro-phenyl)-piperidin-3-yl]-(4-methyl-piperazin-1-yl)-methanone of Example 460b replacing (S)-1-(3-Methoxy-4-nitro-phenyl)-piperidine-3-carboxylic acid with (R)-1-(3-Methoxy-4-nitro-phenyl)-piperidine-3-carboxylic acid. [(R)-1-(3-Methoxy-4-nitro-phenyl)-piperidin-3-yl]-(4-methyl-piperazin-1-yl)-methanone was isolated as a yellow oil after described extractive workup and was used without further manipulation. LC: 88% pure.
