The mixture of 1-(2-amino-4-chloro-6-fluoro-3-hydroxyphenyl)-4-(3-fluoropropyl)-1,4-dihydro-5-oxo-5H-tetrazole (0.30 g), isopropyl iodide (1.2 ml), and potassium carbonate (0.14 g) in acetonitrile (5 ml) was heated under reflux for 2 hours.
