To a solution of 4′-trifluoromethyl-biphenyl-2-carboxylic acid (4-piperazin-1-yl-phenyl)-amide (318 mg) in CH2Cl2 (10 mL) containing Et3N (91 mg) was added methanesulfonyl chloride (70 μL) and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1 hour. The solution was washed with water, with brine and dried over Na2SO4, filtered and evaporated. The solid obtained was recrystallized from CH3CN to give the title compound (170 mg) as white crystals.
