Procedure

The title compound from Example 201 (20 mg, 0.035 mmol) in 1 mL MeOH at OoC was treated with OXONE® (22 mg, 0.035 mmol) in 1 mL water. The mixture was allowed to warm to room temperature over 0.5 h and then poured into 30 mL EtOAc. Water was added, the layers were separated, and the aqueous layer was extracted with EtOAc (2×5 mL). The combined organic layers were dried over MgSO4, filtered and evaporated to give 6 mg of the title compound as colorless solid: 1H NMR (400 MHz, CD3OD) 8.14 (d, 1H, J=7.81 Hz), 7.75 (d, 1H, J=7.24 Hz), 7.25-7.05 (m, 5H), 4.94 (t, 1H, J=6.59 Hz), 4.62 (t, 1H, J=6.20 Hz), 4.35-4.20 (m, 1H), 4.15-4.05 (m, 1H), 3.78-3.70 (m, 1H), 3.48-3.38 (m, 1H), 3.29 (s, 3H), 2.88-2.80 (m, 1H), 2.75-2.45 (m, 5H), 2.15-2.03 (m, 1H), 1.97 (s, 3H), 1.90-1.80(m, 2H), 1.37 (d, 3H, J=7.26 Hz), 0.93 (d, 3H, J=6.77 Hz), 0.92 (d, 3H, J=6.74 Hz); MS (−APCI) m/z 595 (M−H)−.
