Procedure
Under nitrogen, N-[cis-3-[(4-methyl-1-tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl-1H-indazol-5-yl)oxy]cyclohexyl]-N-phenylamine (100 mg, 0.247 mmol) was dissolved in isopropyl alcohol (4 ml), followed by adding thereto a 4N-hydrochloric acid/1,4-dioxane solution (4 ml), and the resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature for 20 hours. The solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure and the resulting concentration residue was thoroughly dispersed and suspended in isopropyl alcohol. Thereafter, the solid was collected by filtration, washed with a small volume of isopropyl alcohol and then dried under reduced pressure to obtain N-[cis-3-[(4-methyl-1H-indazol-5-yl)oxy]cyclohexyl]-N-phenylamine (71 mg, yield 80.5%) as a whitely yellow solid.
