Reaction Steps
12.5 g of Boc-(D)-Tyr(Bzl)OH were converted as in Example 3 into 18.9 g of Boc-(D)-Tyr(Bzl)-Pro-p-cyanobenzylamide, dissolved in 780 ml of MeOH and hydrogenated with Pd/C at room temperature. After 6 h, the catalyst was filtered off and the solvent was stripped off. Boc-(D)-Tyr-Pro-p-cyanobenzylamide was obtained in quantitative yield.
