Procedure
A solution of (S)-1-(4-Amino-6,7-dimethoxy-2-quinazolinyl)-3-(1,1-dimethylethylamino)carbonyl piperazine (133.2 mg, 0.3429 mmol) was treated with 2-furoyl chloride in dry 1.0 mL THF (14 h). The reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo and submitted to PCTLC (SiO2, 2 mm, 0-10% CH3OH/CH2 Cl2) providing the desired amide.
