211 mg of 8-amino-9-trifluoromethyl-2,3-dioxo-1,2,3,5,6,7-hexahydro-pyrido[1,2,3-de]quinoxaline-5-phosphonic acid diethyl ester and 66 mg of 2,5-dimethoxytetrahydrofuran are reacted for one hour at 140° C. bath temperature. After recrystallization from ethanol, 123 mg of 8-(1-pyrrolyl)-9-trifluoromethyl-2,3-dioxo-1,2,3,5,6,7-hexahydro-pyrido[1,2,3-de]quinoxaline-5-phosphonic acid diethyl ester of melting point 268° C. is obtained.
