The title compound was prepared according to the procedure described in step 2 of Example 58 from methyl 2,5-dichloronicotinate and 3-fluorobenzylzinc chloride: 1H-NMR (CDCl3) δ 8.65 (1H, d, J=2.4 Hz), 8.19 (1H, d, J=2.6 Hz), 7.26–6.84 (4H, m), 4.54 (2H, s), 3.89 (3H, s).
