1.44 g (10.2 mmol) (2-amino-6-fluoro-phenyl)-methanol are dissolved in 120 ml chloroform, combined with 4.43 g (51 mmol) manganese(IV)-oxide and stirred for 2 days at ambient temperature. Then excess manganese(IV)-oxide is filtered off through Celite and the solvent is eliminated in vacuo.
