Prepared according to Method D step C from 7-(4-Fluorophenyl)-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1-propyl-1H-indazole (0.125 g, 0.35 mmol), BBr3 (0.066 mL, 0.7 mmol) to give the title compound as a white solid (0.087 g, 0.25 mmol, 72%).
