A suspension of compound 1g (130 mg, 0.34 mmol) in methyl acrylate (1.0 mL, 11.1 mmol), and acetic acid (0.5 mL, 8.7 mmol) was sealed in a pressure tube under argon and heated at 80° C. overnight. The reaction mixture was concentrated on a rotary evaporator and the residue was purified by preparative tlc (silica gel, 40% v/v ethyl acetate/hexane) to give compound 15a (47 mg, 30%). ESI-MS m/e 469.3 (M+1).
