N-(2-Aminomethylphenyl)methylsulphonamide N-(2-Cyanophenyl)methylsulphonamide (1.0 g) and raney nickel in ethanol/0.880 ammonia (100 ml, 1:1) were hydrogenated under 64 Atm. of hydrogen at room temperature for 27 h. The reaction was filtered through celite and the solvent evaporated under vacuum to give N-(2-aminomethylphenyl)methylsulphonamide (915 mg, 90%).
