Prepared in analogy to example 4 (b) from 4-(5-bromo-thiazol-2-yl)-piperazine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (Example 4(a)) and diethyl disulphide. The crude material was purified by chromatography (SiO2, ethyl acetate/heptane) to afford the title compound as a white crystalline solid (yield 86%). MS (m/e): 330.3 (M+H+, 100%).
