Compound (247) (0.51 g, 1.02 mmol) from above was dissolved in dichloromethane (1 mL) and treated with trifluoroacetic acid (1 mL). The resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 h. The solvent was removed in vacuo and the crude residue (248) (0.49 g) was used in the next step without further purification.
