A solution of 233 mg (1.0 mmol) 2-aminophenyl phenyl sulfone and 0.25 ml (1.5 mmol) N-ethyldiisopropylamine in 2 ml dichloromethane was cooled in an ice bath and a solution of 350 mg (1.1 mmol) 2-(3,5-bis-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-2-methyl-propionyl chloride in 1 ml dichloromethane was added dropwise. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight, evaporated and the residue was purified by flash chromatography to give 490 mg (95%) of the title compound as a pale yellow oil.
