A solution of 0.17 mmol of 4-(5,6-dihydro-8H-imidazo[5,1-c][1,4]oxazin-5-yl)benzonitrile (Example 1) and 0.017 nimbi of dibutyltin oxide in 4.6 ml of toluene is mixed with 3.34 mmol of trimethylsilyl azide. The reaction mixture is heated at 125° C. overnight. It is cooled to room temperature and evaporated. The title compound is identified from the residue on the basis of the Rf by flash chromatography (SiO2 60F).
