In a sealed tube, [2-(3-Amino-4-chloro-phenoxy)-[3,4′]bipyridinyl-2′-yl]-methyl-amine (300 mg, 0.918 mmol) and 2-Fluoro-5-trifluoromethyl-benzoyl chloride (0.180 mL, 1.19 mmol) were dissolved in 2.0 mL chloroform. The solution was heated to 75° C. and stirred for 48 h. The reaction was then cooled to RT, quenched with triethylamine (0.128 mL, 0.918 mmol), and concentrated in vacuo to yield the title compound as a crude light yellow solid. MS m/z (M+H)+=517; Calc'd 516.87 for C25H17ClF4N4O2.
