Procedure

Compound 92 (298 mg, 1.01 mmol) was dissolved in THF (10 mL), and a 1.59 mol/L solution of n-butyllithium in n-hexane (5.70 mL, 9.06 mmol) was added thereto in a stream of argon at −78° C., followed by stirring at room temperature for 2 hours. A saturated aqueous solution of ammonium chloride was added to the reaction mixture, followed by extraction with chloroform. The organic layer was dried over anhydro us magnesium sulfate, and then the solvent was distilled away under reduced pressure. The resulting residue was purified through silica gel column chromatography (hexane:ethyl acetate=3:1) to afford the entitled Compound 395 (224 mg, 63%).
