Procedure

A 3 M THF solution of methylmagnesium bromide (0.15 mL, 5.4 eq) was added to a THF (1 mL) solution of Example 202 (30 mg, 0.083 mmol) at room temperature. After 2.5 h, the reaction was quenched with saturated NH4Cl and extracted with EtOAc. The EtOAc layer was concentrated and purified by flash column chromatography (4 g ISCO silica gel cartridge, 0 to 50% EtOAc-hexanes) to give the title compound (25.7 mg, 82%) as a 1:1 mixture of two isomers. MS found: (M+H)+=377.
